PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING:

If you are an international student in F-1 status, you can use this form to request a new travel signature on your I-20. You will need a valid travel signature in order to re-enter the United States after traveling abroad. You don’t need a signature in order to depart the United States.

Prior to submitting this form, check the date of the last “Travel Endorsement” on page 2 of your most recent I-20. Travel signatures for current students are valid for 1 year. That means, if you received a travel signature on 09/01/2024, you can travel using that signature until 09/01/2025.

For alumni currently on Post-Completion OPT, travel signatures are valid for 6 months.
