Complete this form if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have been hired to perform with Hire Juilliard Performers. OIA will review your form submission and email you once your employment eligibility has been determined.
Foreign nationals who are not currently an enrolled Juilliard degree-seeking student must also email OIA copies of their immigration documents. This includes:
- Copy of passport
- Copy of visa stamp (except for Canadian citizens)
- Proof of work authorization. Examples include: Copy of I-797 Approval Notice (O-1, P-1)
- I-20 with CPT authorization (F-1 enrolled student)
- DS-2019 with Academic Training authorization (J-1 student)
- EAD card (F-1 on OPT, J-2, etc)
* If you are on an O-1 or P-1, we will also need an email from your visa sponsor approving your engagement with Hire Juilliard. Your sponsor should e-mail this letter to oia@juilliard.edu.
Template email:
This email is to confirm that [artist] has an itinerary-based O-1/P-1 visa classification, arranged through their appointed agent, [Petitioner], which is valid through [mm/dd/yyyy]. This allows them to accept and add engagements to their itinerary (including master classes, coaching, and teaching) throughout their classification period without the necessity of filing an amended petition. As the petitioner, I confirm that the engagement at Juilliard falls under the purview of their petition.
